Lillies are just starting here.



First flower of the year for Best Seller.



From further back you can see the two flowers that started blooming on my Best Seller clump and in back you can see the row of Red Alert that always blooms afterward.

The asiatic solid colors always start first in the third terrace of the terraces garden. Afterward the Tango lilies bloom.

Your terrace views are always so lovely! And 'Best Seller' is lovely (the name cracks me up too).

Thanks! When the tango lilies bloom, that terrace looks really great (even if I say so myself LOL!).

You clump of Best Seller looks so healthy and about ready to burst with buds.

Common orange asiatic lilies just started today.

A short orange one.



And a yellow shortie. Both of these are up in that terrace garden pictured above.

It rained so here are the common orange asiatics in the rain this morning.

Glad to see lilies blooming. Rita I always enjoy photos of your garden. I understand you do all of this on a rather small lot. Boy you wouldn't know it, the way you pack them in!

Polly, since the iris are done I had to amuse myself taking pictures of the next bloomers, lilies. Actually, I have had lilies for many, many years. Far longer than I have had Iris. But the past four years or so I have really been adding many more lilies. I have so many now, hundreds and they just started blooming. I do really love lilies and buy more every year. I added about 210 new ones this spring alone.

Connie- I have a fairly normal sized suburban lot. The thing that makes it all work is that the property is very muli-level so I had lots of terracing done.

Sorry, I don't know what the short orange one is.

I really like the looks of Best Seller. Looks like such a nice strong one.

One of the nicest things about Best Seller is that the flowers face upward. Red Alert is another AT hybred I have were the flowers face upward and I love that. I have a row of Red Alert but not blooming yet.

Tango Lilies started blooming around here.
