Please! Please!....pass the towel!

I really think whoever owned the Brownie camera that day came in to take a picture of a spider we called "Little Jo"....named after my mother.

A huge spider lived in that shower stall, way up high. Someone, probably my Grandfather named it Little Jo. I think it was supposed to keep us all from freaking out. I didn't bother me...I knew there was no room in my tub for 8 more legs!

*grin

Howdy, Mary!
Nice to see ya!

As for the blogging, I keep wondering if Dave will make it more than a one-page thing so people can make categories or something, like folders. Then again maybe I'll just post a musing from time to time and that'll be fine. Ya see, I gotta get these thoughts outta my brain to make room for more; it's getting kinda cramped in there.

Best to you and yours!

Well, gonna have to play it by ear, Karen. Maybe a post here and there along the way, as time allows will give me the fix I need from time to time, eh?

Thanks for dropping by!
And I STILL love that landscaping you've done at your place. It's beauteous!

Howdy, Mary....

There have been a couple blog entries since this one...

And now with Dave's new "thumbs up" feature maybe that'll be an impetus to continue more. (Glad there is not a "thumbs down" feature, unless that is when people don't use the 'thumbs up'!) :>)

Guess you're getting ready for winter out there soon, eh? And here we are with a hurricane coming in off the Atlantic.

Best,
Shoe

Be safe, Shoe? You're not in an area near the coast?

Nope, I'm several hours drive from the coast. At this point, the way Irene is moving west, then north, it looks like we should only be getting 30-50 mph winds and rain. One weather site states we could get tropical storm wind downbursts up to 105mph.

I don't feel too worried about us, mostly thinking of all the folks down east, on the coast and inlands, expecting high winds and rains up to a foot accumulation. The State is in "disaster mode" with people from our area ready to go help out.
