I remember running across some feature that let you post when a thread was closed. Would this feature be helpful on the site talk forum, perhaps?

Linda, moderators have the ability to lock a thread.

I thought about that feature since, maybe?, I resolved my issue with the blog and the discussion is sort of over. But, then again, someone may come along a post on that same thread about a problem they're having.
