Loved your article. wonder if they thought about how many Gallons of sweat you lose in the kind of weather we have been having. I just came in from doing some work and I was soaked, but Yes, I love going out and "piddling around" in my garden. Great Article...

Thanks Charleen. I always forget to drink water until I'm really thirsty. Would be nice if i could sweat a few pounds off. I'd be out there in the yard a lot more!

Me too! It would be nice if it was that easy to lose weight. Maybe I'd be the right height for my size. I need to be about 6' the way I have it figured. But good thing is, Hubby doesn't say anything. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

My husband almost had to find a new place to live. I pulled out a box of mini-slips l used to wear in the early 70s that was buried in the attic. I held one up and asked him was I ever that little, and he said yes. Not, oh you still look like you could wear those. Well, I made my favorite thing for dinner that night. Reservations.

Mini slips? Oh, he was just talking about the short part, Bubbles. Of course you were shorter years ago.
Reservations are good, though.

Oh no, not me! Him! He likes to tell stories on me at large gatherings. I think sometimes he actually encourages my bad behaviors so he can make a good story out of it.

That seems to me to be an oxymoron.

He encourages your bad behavior so he can tell a story.
Which means your bad behavior had to be there in the first place.

Sorry, Bubbles. You haven't convinced me of a thing.

He doesn't encourage it, but after I do something, he likes to say, "Oh boy, this is going to be a good story!"
And BTW, I don't appreciate being called a moron, or is an oxymoron some kind of uber moron? I guess that would be okay.

It wasn't you who was called an oxymoron.
It was your statement about what he was saying about what you were doing and that became the oxymoron and no it isn't some kinda ubermoron unless that makes you feel better in which case you can be one if you want to be. One.

I DO enjoy being outdoors...but...there's something about triple digits...I'm just not enjoying it much now. My dermatologist doesn't encourage me being in the sun much either! Can't believe fall takes so long to get here.

It's a good thing you stepped in when you did, Linda.
Bubbles has been in the heat wayyyy too long.
I was getting just a little concerned.

See, it all started with her mini slips and one thing just led to another.
Don't you think it could be the heat?

Oh no, it started innocently between Charleen and myself discussing weight loss. I did spend quite a few hours in the hot sun though, washing glass mulch.

You are SO making that up.
But while you're at it, don't forget the heat stroke thingy and the trip to ER for hydration, caused by all that time spent outside in the hot sun cleaning then packing that glass.

Oh Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
