I will bring this up with my daughter. There is a nice blue echeveria in the planter as well as what looks like a jade tree.

This will require buying new planters ( hold me back ) tee hee

I am looking at your photo..yes, your grapto seems to be planted with a Jade succulent. I also try not to mix my jades with any succulent if I can..they also grow quite big as it branches out.

But for this planter, I dare not bother my Jade, seems okay with it pushing against the other noid succulent. But I am learning, so I never repeated this set-up to my other jades.
It used to be this small in 2010: Big Grin

But you know I keep most of my succulents outdoors, so they grow freely year round. Maybe in your area, it is possible their growth will be tempered a bit since they will stay indoors during winter.

No it has not grown aggressive like your plant Tarev. I only have a lot of them because the leaves drop or when I bump it.

Because it is inside in the winter if I put it in a pot alone it would look really lonely if I did not have it in a combo pot. I cannot get the growth you get keeping them in my partly sunny partly cloudy winters. Hilarious! Although because of all the beautiful colors it is a good combo pot compliment and I love combo pots.

We have another huge jade. Its over 10 years old and all by itself in a big planter. I think it bloomed once.

Same with my jade Jo Ann, only saw it bloom once, and at one branch only a very timid bloom show Hilarious!

Cinta, I finally know now which of my succulents are real drama queens during winter. Before I used to live them all out, but now, I know which ones to protect more. Killing some in the process..oh well, that is why if I can, I avoid putting them in combo pots, so different growth patterns and needs. Only a few that I know with really similar in habits I put together.

I wish I could leave my succulents out all winter. I am jealous you get to leave your plants out all winter. *Blush* I do have a hardy succulent/cactus garden though. Smiling I just cannot get the same colors like the tender succulents for that garden going.

Every time I think I have found a hardy succulent I find it is only hardy to zone 8. I want the pretty succulent foliage and not flowers.
