This one is growing near a large tree.... It could have a better place.
Flower are big and beautiful, although, when the petals curl back so much, they almost touch the ground! The scapes haven't gotten above about 18".
It's been in the same place for 2 years, hardly any buds.
It does set seed, it has more seeds per pod than other tets.
I have some seedlings that will bloom next year of Storm Damage X Bali Watercolor!

this is the DL (together with Russian Rhapsody) that boosted my interest in Daylilies to a fullblown addiction! Rolling on the floor laughing
(I made it my avatar!)

It was the first big(ger) flowered DL that bloomed in my garden and I was totally lost.. Lovey dubby

I kept it in a big pot during the summer as I was in the process of rearranging my garden to make more space for DL's Whistling and didn want to move plants that were already blooming.

It was growing very well and flowered fantastic, even though the pot turned out to be too small..
When I took it out to put it in the ground it was 1 big clump of roots Blinking

Even so, foliage was looking good, scapes grew well above it and flowers opened perfectly Thumbs up

I purchased and planted Storm Damage in May this year.
I didn't think to measure the scapes, but the fans increased from 6 to 11 (while in the container),
it produced 3 scapes and a total of 28 flowers.
That is less than it should be, but now that is in the ground I'm sure it will do even better next summer Lovey dubby

This was a new purchase for me. It arrived later than expected last fall and I hope it survived the winter in a pot! It doesn't look very good, probably because I neglected it in the garage. I've planted it in a bed and hope it perks up!
