If moon flower seed pods are picked before turning brown or cracking open. Are the seeds any good.? Why is it hard to buy moon plant at the local garden centers?? I live in Traverse City Michigan and I can not find plants nor seeds of moon flowers? I hope someone will answer these questions. Thank you!

I've never seen any kind of morning glory (ipomoea) sold as a plant. They're kind of a pain even starting several in pots from seeds as the vines tend to get tangled together in a very short time if they're anywhere near each other. But you should be able to order moonflower seeds online with no problem. That's where I have gotten all mine. Heck, you can order them from Amazon. And they're easy enough to start from seed.
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
