This was giant marigold when she brought me a clump dug from a field on the side of the road. I was excited, but now that it has bloomed I say NOT. So, in fact, what is it?

I checked the DB...only one picture of leaves, but they certainly look to be the same I tip my hat to you. Neighbor probably said GIANT due to the height it can get....I was hopeing for BIG flowers. If others agree with this ID then I'll add my pics to it's listing in the DB Thumbs up
