Been having that problem with a house painter.. he's stomped on at least 7 of my roses!! How can you NOT see a 2-3ft rose bush??? seriously?

Maybe if you deduct the cost of the roses from that painter's final check, he might learn to look before he stomps!

Woofie - I already told him that one more rose gets stomped and he's fired. He & I kinda got into yesterday as I raised hell with him. I was stupid.. I pre-paid him & didn't get any additional bids. I learned my lesson! But, I'm also once-bitten-twice-shy as I had a lot of other things planned for this contractor and he's lost my business for everything else. It doesn't take 3 friggin months to paint a house, even with our crappy weirdo weather here!

Don't feel bad, Toni. I did the same stupid thing once with a painter. And he never did paint one side of my garage.

My gardenia is finally recovering from being stepped on and shingles being thrown on it. It got it double, both by roofers and siding guys. Why is it when you get someone to fix one problem, they cause another?

Oh, don't you know, it's because they're so "professional" and "job-focused." Right.
