Nope, I have lots of seedlings in the "pipe-line". My wife gets the first one. Brownie-points, you know. Thumbs up

@Hetty, you know I like to ask questions, but this question (s) is probably a stupid one. *Blush*

I have plumeria, that when growing new tips, those young tips (and even the leaf-stems) will be almost white and some are distinctly pink. Have you noticed this with some of your plants? Are those colors possibly a tip-off for the flower colors? I have seen for years that the Scott Pratt has almost burgundy colored new tips/leaves, and its an intense red.

Sure. Here are just some of those with "colored" tips/leaf stems/leaves. The majority of the plants have light to dark green tips/stems. I just thought this was something kind of interesting.

The pink ones in your first pictures are certainly interesting.

My first Yugumbah spirit seedling had red tips and blackish stem but when the bloom opened it was yellow Hilarious! Hilarious!

Yes, there is absolutely no guarantee of color.

So, the consensus of you is that the colored tips, the colored stems, and the colored terminable leaves mean nothing. I assume you all have seen these pink "parts", these white "parts" , and these burgundy "parts", and when seeing blooms, those colors seen early on don't mean a thing? Right? I just want to make sure you all are firm in your conclusions.

I said 'no guarantee'. It can be a suggestion of color.

I agree with Hetty, there is no guarantee. For the most part, the tips with hints of color, would most likely have blooms other than white or yellow.

I understand. I will just say its interesting then. I never really paid much attention to these colored tips/stem/leaves, though I had always seen it associated with the Scott Pratt. Only when I saw the bright pinks with a few of my seedlings this summer did it really take note.
