I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
Bought a plant at Lowes that had this growing in it.
It reminds me of a joe pye weed?
I don't know what it is really, but would like an ID before I decide to pull it or not

It looks like a nasty ol' Fatoua species weed. Fatoua villosa, perhaps.

I have Fatoua weed problems and would recommend pulling it and dumping it in the trash (not compost) asap. They come up in carpets of seedlings in the lawn, flower beds, flower pots, you name it. Thumbs down

I agree with Danita, Fatoua for sure, it is very prevalent in potting soils especially from nurseries that sell tropicals.
