Background history:

'Radiation Biohazard' is a dormant diploid introduced in 2000 by James Gossard. He does his hybridizing at Heavenly Gardens in Columbus, Ohio: http://www.daylilynet.com/index.htm

This cultivar is a mid-season bloomer. It has earned the AHS Honorable Mention: 2005 award. It is pod and pollen fertile with 6 registered children: http://garden.org/plants/parentage/4665/

Wow, this one has a lot of different looks in the pictures in the database! It's beautiful in most of them. I don't grow this one, but Gossard has a lot of great intros; this one appears to share in that trend.

Becky, you and Jon are certainly enablers with these Daylily of the Day threads! Now Radiation Biohazard has gone on my 'want' list, Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing !

What a great height and bloom size. Hope somebody chimes in with performance on it.
