Wow Leslie -- that Merci Marci is amazing!! I agree with Neal -- it does look like a watercolor painting!! Lovey dubby And it's a space-ager -- how cool is that? So is that a bed devoted to space-agers?

Charlotte, I will always grow Edith Wolford because it was one of the first named Iris I grew.. She has been with me through 3 houses.. Yes, there are newer, prettier varieties out there now, but she will stay. Just call me sentimental..

Note to self. Stop reading this forum and stop looking at the pictures. My wishlist is WAY over budget. Not to mention I'll need a pneumatic shoe horn to fit new ones in.

Mariposa Sky is another work horse! It grows very well, and always blooms. It's supposed to re-bloom, but not in this zone.

Well, the last clump shot is closer to the real color then the first two pictures. My camera just loves to make things blue.

Tentatively identified as Terra Rosa. The more I research, the more certain I become of that ID. Have had it seven or eight years and it is a prolific and sturdy Iris.

Tracy's Sunshine. My stepnephew's name was Tracy and I have this one in the memory bed constructed for him and my niece, Crystal. Got it just for the name and was surprised by how much I liked it when I saw the blooms.

I really like In A Flash. Just got Sinister Desire this year.

Sherry - I love all three of your pictures. Does Rainbow High grow well? It looks like another child of Starship Enterprise, and one I would love to have instead.

I must be on a yellow tangent lately - Love Material Girl, Tom and Jake, Arlyn.

Charlotte - Purr Form Mints is very lovely in person. I really like it. The blooms last a long time, and they are large. It's soft color blends well with other irises.

Mary Ann- Yes, that is part of the Spoon Bed. Not all the space agers are in there, but the garden has a large collection of them. Almost all of my Burseen's are in that garden, whether they have horns/spoons/flounces or are "normal". I did add a few of his to my new bed this year too since the Spoon Bed (and it's extension) is full.
