Variegated leaf pattern of green and white, I think it stays so over winter. It has climbed up an old tree stump a few feet and spread out a few feet on thre ground; it's been there for years.

It does resemble that, even down to a kind of glossy aspect, but in all the years it's been there, it has never displayed a blue bloom, or any bloom at all. Thanks for the input Jay.

Maybe a euonymus.
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

That's it , and what do i find under the general entry for wintergreen Euonymus, two pictures of mine...there seems there may be some transient memory malfunctions at play.
