Karol always has such nice saturated colors. I saw her Cloud Rider '14 this past summer and it is a definite to order for next spring. From her 2016's Broken Chains, Final Victory, No Ordinary Child and Trouble in Paradise are all on my list as possibles to add to the order...if I can only make up my mind

I already placed my order. The only 2016 ones I got were Citizen of Heaven and Gathering of Nations.

I look for her daylilies that have instant Minnesota rebloom plus taller plants. I already have a good number of her daylilies so may pass this year.

I really would love more of her daylilies but alas no room unless I get real serious about downsizing.

I'm always a little hesitant to buy northern daylilies because of the difference in our growing seasons. What is colorfast/sunfast up north may be a bleached out blob for us by late afternoon in Oklahoma. But this year I was pleasantly surprised by my first daylily of hers, Deliverer. It did a good job of taking relatively high heat in stride (wasn't over 100 yet, but still hot). She's got some very tempting deep purples that I'd like to try IF they can perform as well..............Maryl

You can always ask Karol if she has tested a daylily in a southern climate. I think she has some people test grow some of them for her.

or you can óffer to test grow some of her deep purples ...

I think Fred ( @spunky1 ) grows SOLI DEO GLORIA down around Mobile so he may be able to tell you how colorfast that one is.

Soli Deo Gloria is high up on my wish list. If Fred tunes in I hope he tells me how it does for him.....And Mayo, I had to chuckle because I've thought of volunteering my services for some of those northern hybridizers a few times myself-lol. .............Maryl
