The banner is such a riot of cheerful color. Thumbs up

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Well, I just wasted some time. Here I was admiring the banner and wondering, "What is that pale orange color Salvia?" So I looked on Marilyn's 'have' list. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Marilyn has 2, count 'em, 2 plants listed in her have list yet she has managed to add 3,538 images to All Things Plants. Wow! Hurray! Hurray!

Okay, you forced me to ask. "What is that pale orange color Salvia in the banner?" I just have to know! Thumbs up

@Greene

I took the photo July 28, 2007 that the banner was made from.

I thought all the plants in my plant list were set to private. What 2 plants are you referring? I need to fix those that aren't.

The orange flowers are Hummingbird Mints (Agastache). I had different Hummingbird Mints growing in this scene. I haven't had them for years. This might be the pic that I made the banner with:

Pretty sure those orangish Agastaches were....

Agastache aurantiaca 'Coronado', Agastache mexicana Acapulco® Orange and Agastache mexicana Acapulco® Salmon & Pink. Might have included Agastache aurantiaca 'Apricot Sprite' and/or Agastache aurantiaca 'Apricot Sunrise', because I had them too at the time.

There is a salvia in the banner; but it is pink flowers (can't remember the name right now), purple flowers (Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna') and red flowers (Salvia greggii Navajo™ Bright Red).

Pretty sure is the actual photo I took that the banner was made from and looks to be the same pic in the database above.

I had some purplish-pink Agastaches in the same flower bed, but don't think they were in this shot.

There are some dark orange flowers in the far right side of the pic in the background and they're Bridge Penstemon (Penstemon rostriflorus). Salvia 'Dark Dancer' purplish-pink flowers on the far right.

No, I'm pretty sure that it was a Zinnia Profusion variety.

@Greene
