Going to try this, but was wondering, I've tried other projects with pine cones and they closed up on after I was done, and never re
opened, does this seem to happen when you spray paint them? Thanks for the idea, They look fantastic! Hope they turn out for me,

I haven't had them close up at all after they were painted. I would just make sure they were good and dry before painting. Have fun!!!

Great Idea for the pine cones.
Did you know that throwing one or two of these gems in a wood stove will start a fire in a heart beat. They work great.
Just put them under your kindling and put a match to the pine cone... viola! fire started and life is good.
