Welcome, Harinarayana!

I would guess that the first one is an amaryllis, too. If you post it here:
http://garden.org/forums/view/...
,someone might be able to confirm it is an amaryllis. If you're pretty sure it's an amaryllis, you can post it here, in our Hippeastrum/Amaryllis forum:
http://garden.org/forums/view/...
and see if any of our amaryllis experts can you help you ID it. Smiling

The second one has a form that I don't see very often in daylilies...maybe it's just because it's an older/original variety? The foliage definitely looks daylily-like. Hmm... I'm not an expert on daylilies yet, but there are a LOT of people on here that are. If you want an ID for that yellow flower (daylily), you could post it at the first link above (that's our Plant ID forum) or you could post it in our daylily forum and see if someone will take a stab at guessing which one it is:

Good luck, and welcome, again! Welcome!

Welcome! to All Things Plants! Neither of these is a daylily. It's hard to see the stamens and style on the yellow one, so a closer picture of an individual flower showing them should help. It somewhat resembles a Hypoxis but I'm far from certain about that - definitely agree, post the picture on the general Plant ID forum.
