I agree, a closeup of the leaves and maybe the tree bark will help. My first thought was perhaps Weeping Beech but I don't know if it grows in Arizona. You can view images here for comparison:

Definitely not Beech. I wonder if it could be some sort of Carya (Pecan, Hickory)? but with that pendulous growth habit I'm not sure.

Keep watching though because I know someone here will recognize it and be able to give you an ID.

A pecan or hickory would have compound leaves.

The leaves appear to be toothless which narrows down the possibilities, and look more alternate than opposite, not that that helps me any. The fruits should hopefully help somebody recognize them though. I'd pondered Moraceae of some kind but don't know of any that match those fruits.

Could it be a more weeping form of Brachychiton populneus?

The hanging growth pattern of Mike's tree is very attractive and looks different from the tree pictured in the database. Is it a different subspecies?

The leaves of Brachychiton acerifolius very from being deeply-lobed, to almost entire and elongated.

Brachychiton populneus leaves don't appear to have the small side lobes, and the seeds are large.

Some characteristics given, if they are accurate ..

Native to the dry forests and coastal scrub of northeastern Australia, the tree has smooth green bark and a pyramidal shape when young. With age, the bark becomes cracked and gray, and the tree's canopy a bit more muscular and spreading. Tap the trunk and it sounds hollow, although packed with fibers

Each leaf is bluish green with fuzzy grayish white undersides. Leaf shape is typically a five-lobed star, but older trees' leaves produce more shallowly lobed foliage.

A distinguishing feature of the Queensland lacebark is the cluster of five seed pods that may develop on branch tips, resembling a star from below

B. populneus does have side lobes on some leaves, as in this pic from my earlier calpoly link.

https://selectree.calpoly.edu/...

The weeping form of Mike's tree throws me off a bit but I did find a nursery site that showed a young tree and it was more weeping than the mature ones in the pictures. Not saying it's definitely B. populneus but apparently it is a species that is used in landscaping in Arizona.

This is a mature tree. Check the mature bark on this link, and the seeds ...
