I got close-ups of them

They are eating my clematis, I asked JR's insect lady and she told me they are indeed a Blisterbug. I got lots of these things eating on the fall blooming clematis...

Charleen you be REALLY careful with those, 3 can kill a horse. my neighbor says one can, but the extension service says 3. anyway, be sure any hay, alfalfa, or the like cannot contain these evil things.

I don't want anything to happen to your mules.

Sevin seems to work, I just have so damn many hostas it is hard to be sure you have covered them all. the ground is black with dead blister bugs. yes siree...

maybe tomorrow, now I have a hip problem from sleeping in recliners and not being able to change positions. so now I can hardly walk on top of everything else.
