It's pretty good sized too - probably about 5" diameter. I love the dark purple ones too.

'Plum Rose', 'Plum Rose','Plum Rose' Yep, I'm addictive and our sweet Lynn helped me start my Semp. addiction.
Great big thank you Lynn.
In fact, I love them so much that if I love them to death, I have a burial ground for them. If they die, their labels will live here. And I'll still love the memory..talking about morbid..

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing You are so funny Faye. And I am such a bad semp mommy, I found two dead semps today while weeding. Did I place their little bodies in a nice resting place. Confused
No, I threw them in the trash. I may have to go get a flashlight and find them. Sad Crying

Well I lost my heuff. 'Midori'. I am so bummed. Guess I should be thankful that is the only one to succumb to the weather we get in Aug.
Here is was in June. Between the Blue Jay and Bill it just couldn't take any more abuse.

Lynn, I lost a couple of hueffs too. 'Cumuli' and 'Hyacinth'. One more only had one rosette and that's flowering right now, so I'm sure I'll loose that one too.

I had one of the heuffs flower and after the flower stalk was all brown and crispy it started growing a new rosette. So don't pull out the bloom stalk.

Hmmm, that's to bad. I know there is a setting somewhere for that, but don't know where. : (

Only time will tell Chris, it was sure a surprise to me when I found the tiny heuff rosette growing from the old flower stalk. I was happy. : )

Aww Lynn, I'm so sorry you lost your 'Midori'. She was beautiful. If I'm not mistaken my heuff's are what I am losing. Tomorrow, IF we don't have any more rain, I will try to get out there and see exactly which ones I still have. I did notice on a few that had turned almost black, they had a little new one growing in the same pot. But, like a few inches over from the dead one. So that's good.
