Does Flying Trapeze go totally underground in late September in the north zone 4? I planted this daylily this spring, it was growing just fine. Come September I noticed there was no sign of FT. Wondering if it went completely dormant, did not want to dig around it that late in the season looking for a sign of the plant.

Thanks Boyd, it just seemed odd that mine is not showing even dried foliage. Guess I will wait until spring and if it does not appear, think about replacing the plant.

Liz, the picture in my avatar is not FT, it is Athena's Gift another Moldovan daylily.
