Well, the extreme heat & dry has finally broken.. well, at least slackened a little. We didn't have the unbearable 100+ like many other parts of the country, but 95+ here is quite miserable in it's own way. My roses slowed down just a bit, and now they're all coming back to bloom w/a vengeance. I did some big-time deadheading yesterday morning, we got a nice rain yesterday afternoon, and so I took some pix of some presentable roses. Most are not presentable, they're heat-scorched for the most part. But these are purdy.
