About three months ago, I began an odyssey that took me to places that, in my life long journey as a gardener, I never would have imagined. It all began with a daylily seedling.

This provides a great education for the variety of attributes found in daylilies. Like you, I love the patterns and prisms, UFO forms, and hose-in-hose double daylilies. I have just retired and have time and land in north Florida and if my knee replacement surgeries go as well as I hope, I will also have the body that goes with the work involved with raising and hybridizing daylilies. Time will tell. This fall I spent acquiring some love daylilies as well as "toothy" and patterned seeds.

Again thanks for the article.
