Thanks Jean and Fleur. As I recall we had a heavy rain storm that laid some of the plant on the ground but then after the rain the blossoms started looking toward the sun.......

Really love this banner. Hurray! Such a cheerful sight on an Autumn day.
I also have some tall Helianthus (either H. angustifolius or H. simulans) that grow really tall and fall over when the winds are strong. The dogs love to eat the leaves. Thumbs up

Very nice! I enjoy using this helianthus (maximilianii?) as cut flowers. I think they are beautiful in arrangements.
