Thanks Jean and Fleur. As I recall we had a heavy rain storm that laid some of the plant on the ground but then after the rain the blossoms started looking toward the sun.......

I have no use for internet bullies!

Really love this banner.

Such a cheerful sight on an Autumn day.
I also have some tall Helianthus (either H. angustifolius or H. simulans) that grow really tall and fall over when the winds are strong. The dogs love to eat the leaves.
