She is beautiful and I am hoping she is grafted. I will be on the lookout for this one if our Lowe's will carry it.

Hope yours are OK. They were probably in better conditions.

I hope so too, some of those seedlings are my neighbors and I feel a little bit more pressure to keep them healthy since I lost a few of them last winter and during rainy season. And the other ones are hubby's mystery seeds seedlings gift to me that I just wanted to see them bloom.

That one of mine was so tight, the pot shape was warped. I wonder if a lot of the problem was pressure on the roots? I have no idea. Seems like for a plant that would be closest to a person wearing too-small shoes.

I've always wondered about that because I read that when the roots start peeking out there is not much of a protection and then that causes root rot.

Are morning glories like adeniums that can be propagated by cuttings?. I have started propagating mine via cuttings so I have back ups.

Fortunately one of them made seeds and the other one I still have seeds to replace it. Some of the perennial species can be stem propagated. Life goes on with other stuff from the collection.

I know that we have discussed how some Adenium multi-petaled flowers are the result of anthers becoming extra petals and that these flowers often have no pollen. Take a good look at this flower. The extra petals clearly show the remnants of the anther tails at the tips of the petals.
The first row of petals do not have this small fuzzy appendage.

This flower should appear much darker (more black) but I took this photo back in July and the full sun got to it before I could move it into less light. Dark flowers like this get chalky looking in full sun.

Oh yes I see the tips with fuzz! Interesting Lovey dubby

I have one that blooms deep purple and sometimes deep maroon that now is almost reddish black. It is hard to capture the real color. Also, this was multi petal but now all the blooms are double Confused Confused

I certainly empathise with you on the inability to capture the correct colors in photos taken with a cell phone. I suppose I could do better with an actual camera but I think I'll leave the professional looking photos to @Baja_Costero.
