Trying to tutor algebra, once, made the basics sink in better for me than the original class did.

If you think you know something well, try to teach it clearly! THEN you'll know it really well and be able to express it.

Hurray for generous people who take the time to explain in detail, no matter what the age of the ones who are eager to learn.
