Happy to share what I know about those plants. Sorry I wasn't in the mood to type plant names when uploading submissions. :+) It came from EA, so could show up at WM or L's. Found mine at WM. (No HD around, so have no idea if they do EA plants also.)

I love it too! Over time it fades to a little darker green, depending on exposure. New pups are especially bright and lovely!

Tiffany, does it stay a paler color with more sun, or more shade? It truly is an eye catching plant.

If you T-mail me next summer I will send you some. I gave away a lot of it last year. I picked up a piece that the landscapers were throwing away when I was in Florida one year on a business trip; At the time I was not into succulents and did not know what it was but it grows like a weed.

I even started to throw some of it away this year because the pot was too full. But I brought inside at the last minute. Some of it got a little frost bite but it will recover. It is a weed.

Someday I hope to live where I need to be careful about what plants I put in the ground, sigh!

Lynn, they get darker with the lower light while inside for winter, but not much darker.

Okay just remember I warned you IT IS A WEED! Hilarious!

Tiffany mine did something strange one year. It has not happened to any of the other clumps.

I did have it in a lot of sun that year and it did not get any water for a month with temps in the 90s.

Tiffany, your work has inspired me many times. I have a few different cane begonia pots that I had you in mind when I put them together. I was pretty confused myself on the photos and after I looked at the threads posted here a little it became more clear to me. I missed the voting on first round and found the thread options confusing for best of show? Still not sure how to look overall what happened other than following a few hours worth of threads. Im not very tech savy though.
Anywho, ....... point being is that I find that you grow a rather green grass! You have been a wonderful gem on this site. I just tonight had the experience of smelling the tiny flowers of string of pearls and it was the most amazing scent. No ones garden makes the pages of magazines by being normal! The ones that do most times are boring. I for one love your contributions.

There are some very good thoughts and comments above about ranking etc. I agree with Needrain - it would be nice to see all the entries again as I too found one of interest to me and now it is gone.

Perhaps someone could summarize the collective points/suggestions and post them in the Site Talk forum? Maybe if that is done, Dave would respond?

TYVM, Audrey! I feel the same way about your combo pots! I'm so glad you were able to sniff the string of pearls flowers. I've read that they're supposedly scented but haven't had one bloom since coming across that bit of trivia, had no idea I should sniff when I did have one that bloomed.

David, decent idea! I nominate you.

TY again! Yes, I have seen those. I don't do much with "normal" flowers & don't want to cross the line into ordering plants online. I do give the acorns to others who are trying to win something though, and when I especially enjoy a post. ;)

I have been giving acorns to new members so they can participate in the raffles. It is fun to see them sometimes win something.
