My seeds arrived today. What a nice surprise!

I am almost done rebuilding and updating my computers. I rely on computers for work, but I have a break in work and classes this time of year. It is the best time to make changes. I have been rebuilding computers for ages. Buying a few parts is much less expensive than buying an entire computer A friend gives me client's computers when they upgrade their systems. I adapt and run them. We both also put together machines for friends and local groups in need. Computers are getting so affordable that it will soon be more sensible to replace computers rather than rebuild them. Irregardless, it has been an excellent education.

In the long run, printing seeds labels saves me time. Setting up templates in unfamiliar software is the difficult part. I like having labels with pictures. Perhaps next year, I will add sowing and care instructions on the other side of the label. I need to sit down and do a tutorials in Excel and Word.

I looked for templates for seed envelops online. There are more than I expected, but none were right for me. Perhaps, ATP could have a way for people to share templates for seed labels, plant databases and the like. Perhaps there is such a thing already and I haven't found it.

I sometimes wish for a file sharing system here. But then Dave would need to worry about virus protection.

I figure that emailing files works for most things.
