OK, thanks, I add images from my files if they seem good enough to represent the cultivar, but sometimes those used in discussion aren't necessarily those I think are good enough to add to the database. Yes, I agree some of the images in the daylily forum are besieged with overkill, which is often why I don't submit images of those particular ones.

Yes, the preference option only stops others from doing it. You will still have the power to do it to your own images.
