Lisa (the ishareflowers Lisa) do you know what the Geranium in this photo is? I grew it from seeds I got from you in a GW swap a couple of years ago and I could not find the tag when it bloomed this summer. I love it.

Yes I do. She is Hazel Gallagher. She spreads rapidly if she's happy{I have her in part shade} and blooms for weeks here in MA.

I'm happy to here that you love her as much as I. lol

Thanks Lisa, it was one of my favorite plants this year. She is dreamy with her white Astilbe partner. She's in mostly shade here with just some dappled sun during the afternoon.

Sorry to be redundant, but I am interrupting regularly scheduled programming to post this message on a couple of threads to make sure everyone sees it. I started a thread called It's About Time yesterday. It contains important information for the exact date and time of the start of the swap and how that first day or two happens. If you want to be at the opening gate to get special seeds everyone needs to know what is going on. Erica acknowledged reading it on the thread, but no one else has done that or asked any questions. That may mean everyone understands completely, but I did not the first time and I don't want anyone left out, so on Wednesday if I have not heard from everyone that you are up to speed I'm going to send that information to anyone I have not heard from by email to make sure it is seen. I will be posting more details about how you select what you want and how the swap moves forward from the first day or two until the end of active swapping and beyond.

Hi! I wanted to say I like this platform for swapping. It works well on my phone! I wish I had known about this swap before yesterday, so I could be better prepared. I sprained my ankle Sunday and it gave me time to roam the internet. You should have seen me dragging out my seed boxes with my crutches. Pitiful! I will try to dig thru more seeds today while I'm playing catch up around the house.

Alana and Lisa, that geranium is fabulous!

Better late than never. There is still plenty of time to get things listed and make dibs.

@Horntoad and @acacius48 - Thank you both for taking a chance on the Aechmea fasciata seeds. On January 1, jas_il (GW) posted the following germination report on the seeds:

"Mrs B in WY, aechmea fasciata pink flower (Silver Vase/Urn Plant) did sprout for me. I sowed on Dec 19th and they are tiny seedlings now. It has good germination and most of them are sprouted. thank you so much for the seeds."

Hope they do well for both of you, too. Smiling

I agree with acacius48, thanks for putting them up. Having finished with my wishlist I was just making a casual pass through the seed list to see if anything else caught me eye. That one looked really interesting, so I've got to give it a try.
