I have an herb gardening question that I want to post on the Veg/Fruit forum. I see that some questions have "This is an Ask ATP Question!" green tag that precedes that question. Is this something that I can add, or does the moderator do this?

Thank You!

SSG, I don't know how they get in to specific forums, but while I was navigating to find my way around ATP recently, I saw that feature. On the left hand pane, pick "Goodies" - it is the last pick on the menu. On the "Goodies" page is where I found the "Ask ATP" feature.

Thanks, Terri!

I see that's how you add the green tag, but how do I make sure this question shows up on the Veggie/Fruit forum, and not just on the Ask a Question forum?

Sorry, I don't know how it gets in to a specific forum. Maybe we can use the Ask ATP feature to ask how to do that Hilarious!

Your "Ask ATP" question will first appear here:

Then, if your question has a better chance of being answered in a specific forum, a moderator may later move it to the appropriate forum.

Vic, I didn't even realize there was a separate herb forum! But my question was about how to tag my question with the green question mark that appears on the subject line before the actual words. This appears only on some of the questions posted on the veggie forum and I was wondering how/why.

Thanks, Danita! I had a feeling an admin would be the one to move the question to a different forum. I'm posting my question now!

Thank You!

The green question mark appears on threads here:

Admin may move the question to a place where it will get more response.

Oops, I see that my answer is a duplicate, sorry.

I'm not positive but I *think* the only way that question mark appears on the subject line in forums (say the herb forum) is *when* a moderator moves it *from* the Ask A Question forum to another forum.
Did that answer/non answer make sense?

It wouldn't be green, but couldn't you just begin with (?) in the header? That would denote the thread is starting with a question to the forum you are posting it to.

Confused
I suppose even this could be used to lead off a question?

I just tried using an icon in the header and couldn't put one there. Obviously it could be the first thing in the message. The header accepted (?), but I'd think it could easily be blocked from the header line if it's not welcome. Just beginning a header by spelling out 'question' would be harder to eliminate with programming, I think.
