It is growing in southwest Florida currently, but came from a seed from Australia. This is it's second year of growth and is currently covering a 10 foot section of fence, and it seems to be pretty aggressive unless I keep constantly chopping it back. I am going to try cuttings in the spring. This is the first time it has bloomed. I did initially think it was mucuna---but I internet search didn't prove to be a success. Thanks, JRsbugs!!

You're welcome Jo. Smiling

You're lucky to be able to grow exotics, I once bought a huge sea bean seed (red flowers) with hopes of growing it but it rotted. I have to be happy with plants which will grow here happily, and there are several which can't be grown in warmer climates but that doesn't stop me from wanting to grow everything. Hilarious!

This photo even has an ant in it, like yours!
