This is what my backyard looked like in early May, 2015.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
so is the fencing stuff to keep deer out? I would not think deer eat garlic?

I tip my hat to you. @Frillylily.

You are right. Nothing seems to eat the garlic tops and the squirrels have never dug up the cloves/bulbs. The garlic is my only "winter-crop". The fencing was done to keep the deer and rabbits out when I plant crops in the spring. Though the fencing is only about 5' tall, the deer won't jump over it. I plant so much stuff in the spring that I guess the deer don't see a "safe-spot" to land. They could certainly jump over that fence if they wanted to.
