AOL email is a mess at times. I was blaming it all on Firefox, but I am not at all sure it is not the darn mouse. I will let you know.

I have to go feed now. Thanks for talking to me. Hope you are well and warm.

There might also be some "acceleration" feature in your mouse that the control panel will let you turn off. That can make rapid mouse movements very jerky.

Or maybe clicking on the "scroll bar" to the right will let you scroll controllably, one page at a time.

Or grabbing the button on the scroll bar and dragging it might work. (click on the button and hold the mouse button down as you drag).

Good luck!

I'm not sure I'm picturing the problem but is it possible the cursor is getting down into the bottom right corner of the screen? If so, that will cause any open windows to disappear. If that's what's happening you can right click the "show desktop" button bottom right and un-check "Peek at desktop". Or you can minimize (shrink) your browser, email etc. so that the cursor doesn't have to go lower right sceen to get to anything. I'm probably on the wrong track here but just in case..........

I never realized that after all these years of using a computer, I had to try it and sure enough the open windows disappeared and I was back to my Desk Top. I moved my cursor all around trying to see if it happened anywhere else but no...only in the lower right corner.

That's interesting. For me it only happens if I move the cursor to the UPPER right corner. But then, as a former Mac user, I have my task bar on the top of my screen. Although I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Isn't that a selectable feature?
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

I have done that, and another reason this may be happening is because I have my font to 150 because of having only one eye and so everything is larger and that may be causing it. I do thank you so much. Thumbs up Thank You! Let us hope that is the problem. We will soon see.

Everything is fixed and I am back posting. I am so happy. It was a loose connection in that other mouse. Plus I had the other problem that had to be fixed by a professional with Windows 7 updates. All is well.
