I'm pretty sure I've got Lynn's purslane growing in the ground, because they ARE taller than my other wild purslane. Thanks, Lynn!

The Mediterranean Purslane is a tall upright Purslane. Great for salads, sandwiches and any other way you would normally use purslane. Just not very decorative, but full of good things for your health. : )

Linda, glad they are growing for you. Once you get them going they should reseed for you each year.

I'm moving about 5 minutes away to an apartment while I finish school. Gardening, work and school don't mix well. Smiling

That would be very difficult to keep all those activities going. Wise decision Becky. What are you studying?

Problem is that there is a ground cover type and a tall/upright type.

Here is some seeds I found, I think it must be the same thing you are talking about?:

Johnny's has one called Goldberg Golden Purslane - http://www.johnnyseeds.com/p-5... (It's also known as "verdolaga" in Latin America).

*Also - it gives the latin name as Portulaca oleracea sativa
