Your pics look great. *sigh* I am terrible with a camera...Ask Seedfork. He's been after me for years to try again to take pics. I have a psychological block...my earlier attempts came out so bad I can't face trying again. The one thing I'm really good at photographing is my THUMB. *HA* (I am so bad that whenever I travel, I buy postcards to keep in my photo album)
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."

Glenn,
I have no idea what Annie is talking about... how could I know if she takes great pictures or not?
She never takes any....!
I will say that with my new camera (well not so new anymore) pictures have become almost automatic. I had the settings set for taking flower photos in the garden, and when I needed to take Christmas photos it was almost like learning the camera all over again. I really had some nice family photos for a change this year. For some reason everyone was not running from the camera, but actually wanted family photos...that was great. However, my youngest daughter took the card out of my camera "loaded" them into the computer and left the card in the card slot. I came in the next day, saw the card in the slot and the photos were still on the screen. So I was thinking she had actually downloaded them...nope. She just viewed them, and I formated the card when I put it back in the camera. So there went all the nice family Christmas photos!
I must have missed some posts about your camera, the last I read it had been lost. So I went back and saw where you got a previous new one and sent it back, then I read you were replacing a broken one. Anyhow I do hope you enjoy your new camera as much as I have mine, for years I wanted a DSLR, now I am very happy with my cheap little Nikon. Very light, easy menu, great for what I use it for. If I needed to take photos of anything with movement or action....forget it. Just like my old camera by the time the shutter on this one closes the action has long past or is a blur at best.

Its surprising how many people shun away from Camera or Computer while others jump into them,..you do make up for it with your descriptive events written in your Blog,..great reading Thumbs up

Larry,..i did notice the absence of pictures coming from Annie but she has explained her psychological block re the camera,..but credit given to her Blog,..i like reading that Thumbs up

Yes i remember when you changed over to your present camera,..the pictures were very clear and wonderful to look at and i could see you were enjoying yourself with the results.

Now i am learning about this new camera but no blooms to try my hand at,..if i could get a good day,..without rain i could try capture something else.

Well between a lost camera a broken camera and my android phone which ruined about 25% of pictures taken,..this new one should be the be all and end all,.. thankfully,..nothing as bad as losing pictures,..i took a sharp intake of breath when i read of your Christmas Family Pictures groan Whistling ,..sooooo easy to happen,..a similar incident with two friends boat engines,..the engine was carried from the car to the boat by one guy,..he just positioned it on the back of the boat (thinking the owner would clamp it) then returned to the car to help carry fishing gear and so forth,..the owner of the boat presumed the engine was clamped to the boat,..but no,..he started the engine took off and the engine somersaulted back into the deep water,..about a week later it happened the very same with another crew Shrug!

Wait. Larry's Christmas photos fell overboard from a boat. Now I'm confused. Crying

Rolling on the floor laughing

Annie, yes it is hard to follow along sometimes, conversations can get so confusing, you know the old saying...a picture is worth a thousand words!
Did I mention that with the new cameras these days almost anyone can take really nice photos?
Here are some of the family I took at christmas!
