What a wonderful looking sedum. Do you know what it's growing range is? Will it grow in zone 8?

Lynn, I have burned through many sedums finding out what will work here or not. I would think it would preform beautifuly in your climate. It is one of the hardiest sedums I have tested. I am in zone 8 as well. I have never in three years seen it fazed by cold but it does slow down and decline a little in august. I decline at over 100 degree temps so I give it some slack. This pic has it growing in less than an inch of soil on a rock. Hands down hardy I would have to say.

I got this Petrosedum when visiting my daughter in Las Cruses, NM. Very hot and dry.
Nothing, even our months of rain, some ice, occasional snow have not even caused a blemish on it. Cuttings also root very fast.
This photo was taken in November.

Or maybe there is another sedum you would like from my collection?

Please reread last post. I would love to have a go at heat tolerant semperviums if they exist. If not it a suprise package will be fun. Send me tree mail with address. I will send suprise xmas package. You send suprise package. Good times!
