I noticed—in the American Daylily Society cultivar data base (advanced search w/extra early season)—that a lot of the cultivars in which Rose F. Kennedy daylily was a parent, cultivar descriptions of color included "diamond dusting", even to the point of claiming 100% diamond dusting for some cultivars. For example:
ANGEL'S VIEW height 32 in.(81 cm), bloom 9 in.(22 cm), season EE, Rebloom, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid, 30 buds, 5 branches, Celery green with one hundred percent diamond dusting, very thick substance, and soft pink petal ends.. (Frog`s Eye × Tet. Rose F. Kennedy)
This led to question of what "very thick substance" meant.
