Was shattered to hear the news of the passing of Glenn Frey .. truly one of the worlds best song writers, and, singers along with his Band 'The Eagles' ..

I have seen the band in concert twice, and will never forget ...........

...the passing of our comrade, Eagles founder, Glenn Frey, in New York City on Monday, January 18th, 2016.

Glenn fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis and Pneumonia.

The Frey family would like to thank everyone who joined Glenn to fight this fight and hoped and prayed for his recovery.

Words can neither describe our sorrow, nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us, his family, the music community & millions of fans worldwide.

Just heard 'It's Your World Now' this morning for the first time. How wonderful to know someone's life thru their music, an audio biography. The Eagles would be on my life's playlist, too.

Both our oldest daughters were devastated

One saw them in concert this past summer and wore her t-shirt into work when she got the news.

'There's a Hole in the World tonight" ..

Just a tragedy .. guess we look at people like Glenn Frey and Don Henley, et al, and think they are immortal ..

So sad to hear this. I saw them in concert in 1980 and they were awesome! When they played "Hotel California," it lasted almost 15 minutes! Wow!
The Eagles was one of those timeless groups that spanned generations. Glenn Frey... RIP! You will be missed.
