Found items for plant containers can be quite whimsical or they can be more formal. The key is to be creative when looking for items to use.

Oh Sharon that is wonderful. It is a treasure without price. I can't wait to see how you are going to paint it. Is that buttermilk paint on it?

I don't think it is. But I'm not sure what is on it. It used to be green and the back wasn't painted when I was little. I just got it from my brother's work shop last year, so I'm not sure what it went through during the interim. The first thing I'll do is sand it.

Thanks, both of you. It's pretty special to me.

Ah, thanks for the ¢ sign. Now I need to know how to make "music" signs. After all these years I'm finally learning. Have to keep a log on these as I don't remember from day to day. Hilarious!

Will try and get a picture of my metal chairs soon. They need to be stripped down before I can paint them. Didn't get from a yard sale but a dumpster. DH spotted them and I claimed them. That was a while ago and I still haven't done anything with them.

Yes "free" and "clearance" are some of my favorite words. Hilarious! Today is thrift store day, another favorite. I get 30% off because of the holiday, but that means the store is full of people.

Got to go and practice my musical notes. I guess if I play around a little I'll learn more things.

Okay, I found out from Tee how to make the planter part for the chairs. I think I will use hardware cloth with a lining of moss. I am still struggling with the color/colors to use on the large chair. Sad

Paint it first!! Before making the planter. Then you can touch up if needed on the planter part.

I think she might just stay in the house where she is instead of going out in the yard. Reminds me of when I was a kid and played the flower girl at my aunts wedding.

Lynn alt 13 and alt 14 doesn't work for me I wonder why. I hit alt put in 13 and I get a ? sign. Keep on playing I guess.

Cute angel holder, I have a couple somewhere I picked up. I just have to go through my stuff and see what I got.

I haven't gotten out to take pictures of my chairs, sure is hot out there and I don't do heat very well.

Are you using the number key pad Pegi? And is the Num Lock on?

It is in the 90's here all this week, to hot for me outside. Nice thing is that the night time lows are in the upper 50's, gives the house a chance to cool down for the next day.

Pegi,
Do you have a Mac computer? Those combinations don't work on a Mac. It has its own little icon source and I can tell you if that's what you have. ♬ ☀ ✮ ♥ ❀
