Columbines are such an interesting type of plant. They come in so many shapes, sizes and colours. They had been growing on the property we bought for such a long time, and there were so many crossings and mixtures of shades, that I was always taking pictures.
They totally transformed the shady dells with their flaring shapes. When my son teaches me how to get my Picasa photos out of this computer, Smiling I would love to share some of these Columbines that nature has created.

I had one of those that came up from seed which somehow got into a vacant large pot. It seemed very happy in the pot, so I've kept it there. I only have the golden ones...the one in the pot will soon bloom...pampered plant!
