Very pretty, such interesting growth habit, does it have thorns? I just found the crested form has it's own entry in the database so you should share your lovely photo here too: Crested Eve's Needle (Austrocylindropuntia subulata 'Cristata')

I just happen to be working on this part of the database. Big Grin Austrocylindropuntia subulata f. cristata is not an accepted name, so I'm going to edit the entry to show Cristata as the cultivar name.
