I am guilty of using the same old stuff from 30 years ago and not looking to see what has come along that makes things easier or makes more sense. Not necessarily the biggest and most $$, but common sense strategies. Even cleaning products ..my daughter has all this aids that work well, new cleaners, new tools and I think I need to get with the program! 😊

You are right...the more distance the better between me and slithery things.

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

Well, I looked for a cobra head at my feed store, but they have recently undergone some management changes (not in a good way) and have shrunk the garden tool section and brought in (of all things) plumbing parts, doorknobs, and other random items that belong in a hardware store. I asked the clerk how many doorknobs they sold and he agreed it was an odd choice. They also used to have really functional carts that one could load several bags of feed at waist height, but now have giant grocery type carts which I refuse to even use (I can get a bag of chicken feed IN the cart, but not OUT...) Anyway, no sign of a cobra weeder.

I've tried 3 stores so far, no luck. I like to feel a tool before purchase so likely won't order online. No offense to Amazon, but I try to steer away from that giant and purchase locally when possible. And the last thing I want is a drone tracking me down at the grocery store to drop off a package (kidding, but their idea of using drones IS a bit disturbing to me). I will continue to keep my eye out - for some strange reason my local feed stores have decided gardening is a seasonal event (crazy thought) - I had a heck of a time finding a simple yard cart to move my mulch around.

Another feed store (big box type) and my favorite nursery - still no cobra. Must not be the tool for me, although I will continue to keep my eye out.

I doubt you will find them in any store. I have only seen them mail order and at trade shows (Philly flower show)
