I love growing Amaryllis indoors. Papilio Butterfly Amaryllis is one of my favorites (although I like Amaryllis in general).

Do you grow them inside? If so, what are your favorites?

I've done some regular Amaryllis. Staff where I work was so pleased to see one last year. I hope my current supply (4-5?) goes into my garden in a really good spot this summer and gets beefed up. Otherwise, I don't feed them enough and they dwindle and don't bloom well.

I have photos of other indoor Amaryllis blooming - if I can find them. I agree, it's so good to see them blooming in the dead of winter.

Carol. I love your Butterfly Amaryllis. I'm supposed to get one in a trade this spring. Please do post your photos. We need some rays of sunshine during this dreary period of winter.

Last three bulbs from a bulk box. Somebody mixed them up but that's OK since it will give me a longer bloom time. Library where I work.

I love the Butterfly Amaryllis it is one I have wanted for a few yrs but have not purchased it yet. Maybe this year I will breakdown and buy that one. I have a lot of Amaryllis I have picked up on clearance but mine usually bloom in the spring when I put them outside for the summer.
