Sheesh! I wish you would share a bit of that rain! My usable rain water is gone, and I won't likely see any more 'till Oct., if then. We did get an unheard of 15 minute thunderstorm on Labor Day (4:15 am), but all it did was wash some of the muck off the roof, so my 'chids are going to have to live on Britta or city water till then. You can keep the flooding though. Whistling

Makes me think of the Parc Jeanne D'Arc in Quebec City. Many groupings of different plants of the same color. so pretty. I love late summer/fall flowers. If only my tall asters didn't get mildew!

I first saw the Lespedeza in a wonderful garden in Beverly, Mass many years ago. They have a grand Rare plant sale every May. The estate is amazing. It is a property of the Trustees of Reservations.

We did a big cutdown of the front gardens yesterday and I am amazed that I have no aches today! What's wrong?
Next on to the climbing roses and back.

I'm still befuddled and confused but we must be home as I see no pristine islands floating by the window and no one prepared my thinly sliced salmon for breakfast. Also note that I have updated my profile picture to accurately reflect the current status of my being. Long live the midnight chocolate extravaganza. More later as I am up to my eyeballs in laundry and can't find the cabin boy.
