Hasn't lived up to expectations. Color is quite good, but not especially vigorous here, but is reliable. Bud count so far is modest, but it isn't at full clump strength.

Mabou is an outstanding CV. 2017 was the first real season for it and it was a real performer. It has yet to reach the 30" height coming in at 24" this year but produced a bud count of 17 on 4 way branching blooming the whole month of August. Pretty impressive for a one year old plant. Color is consistent, size of bloom as registered and a heavy substance. A great garden plant.

I haven't had Mabou for long but I love it. The flowers are gorgeous and are always perfect. I don't think I've seen one with any splotches or other imperfections. The flower size has been correct but the scapes are still a bit short. This one literally stops me in my tracks in the garden.
