Gardeners have to have plants. It might even seem like the more we have, the more we want to have! The only question is: where do we primarily shop: online or locally?

Although I've been interested in plants and gardening for 40+ years and did data entry for years when I was working, I'm a bit behind the times regarding the internet! I never even knew about online gardening sites until September 2006 when googling for information about a plant I found DG. I had no idea people bought and traded seeds and plants online!

We only have two nurseries left in our area ... since the big box stores moved in, all of the smaller nurseries went out of business. Sad There is a wonderful nursery I love over near Orlando with a great variety of plants and garden related stuff but it's a bit far to visit very often. I do buy locally from the big box stores as well as our two remaining nurseries when something catches my eye but I love co-ops and trading on line and the past year have purchased from online vendors a few times.

So ... I guess I am now officiallyTeam Both.

I only shop locally. I don't trust putting my $$ online for Anything!! However, I do swap seeds with friends - THEM I trust Lovey dubby
I know, I know,........ I should trust the internet, but having been a techie for years, I know how people can hack, etc, so I Do Not Trust online shopping. Plus, it's too easy to spend too much, I feel..........
So, it's local $$ and online swap Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
