Do you have a photo Ginger? It will get winter damage but should bounce back in the spring. What are your lows in winter?
Graptopetalum is not a hen and chick. Hen and chick is a nickname for sempervivum, which are totally winter hardy down to zone 4. : )

no picture, but I'll try to get one. We can get hard freezes here...don"t usually last long.
