Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (Part 4)

By NEILMUIR1

The large and small Show Gardens at Hampton Court were next on my agenda. The ancient, majestic trees in the distance beckoned me towards them. This most beautiful place offered so many things to see, let's take a look at them.

Dear Marti, glad you enjoyed it and the pictures. There are thousands of gardens like that in the UK as we are a Nation of gardeners.
I hope you are well?
Hugs.
Neil.

Dear Vicki, yet again i am so glad that you enjoyed it. Yes I do tend to put a lot of photos in and that I admit, but it is a massive event and that is why there were four Articles on it. Lots of walking and lots of photos.
I hope you too are well?
Just come back from Norfolk, but I could not get any pictures as it was blowing a gale and the Guesthouse we had to stay in was getting hit by the sea it was so rough up there.
Keep well.
Regards.
Neil.

Dear Vicki, I do try my best! But trying to get pictures in a gale that you could hardly stand up in was a bit difficult, if not impossible to say the least. Rolling on the floor laughing

Thank you for this. I've visited your beautiful country with all its magnificent gardens. Have been to Hampton Court Palace and could only imagine what that looks like during the flower show. Now I know ... at least a bit. What a perfect venue for it. Spectacular!

Hurray! Thumbs up
I garden for the pollinators.

Dear Tee, many people have visited Hampton Court Palace and I am most glad you have. As I stated in my Article it is both beautiful and haunting at the same time, and to us with its history it is. However it is not that old to some of the things we have around here. For yesterday I was in Norfolk looking at a church built in the early 11th century, and it was stunning! The oldest inhabited house near me is circa 800 AD, and the oldest church is 749 AD.
I cannot look at it all as there are 1471 parks in London alone. Yet as you know our Island is but very small, being only 866 miles long as the crow flies!
I thank you for your kind comments.
Regards from a cold and windy England.
Neil.

Neil, I am dong fine. That is until I stepped off the stairs last night and did something to my knee. I've had surgery on both knees in the past. I hope this will heal and I won't have to have surgery again. Grumbling

Dear Marti, as my sergeant told me in the Army pain is a sensation and he liked sensations! Rolling on the floor laughing
I do however hope you are alright? You should take it a bit easy for awhile on that, but not to easy as it may get stiff!
Group hug

I am taking it easy for a couple of days. I at least can get up to the bathroom and even sat in the livingroom to watch some TV. Now I'm going to lie down for awhile.

Neil, I am moving much better this afternoon. Slow but gentle exercise alternating with rest is doing the trick. I'm not trying to go up and down stairs yet, but will in the morning. I have to take my GS to school the next 2 mornings.

Dear Bob, glad you enjoyed it. For to make someone happy all the thousands of miles away is a joy to me. We all have one thing in common and that is we love gardening and plants, and the world over as I know everyone is the same who is into this fascinating subject! Gardeners are mostly friendly whether it be cactus growers, to orchid growers, that is what I have found in my travels around the world. As you probably know I grow I lot of tree ferns as I love the things, plus other ferns as well. The help i got from every person I have met who love ferns has been immense. Luckily I have been college and University, now it is time to take photos of the youngsters gardens doing what I used to do. I never believed anyone would read my Articles as who would want to see what our gardens are like, as it is something I have seen all the time. But they do seem to like our gardens, parks and estate gardens.
Bob in London alone we have 1471 parks, that is a lot to see!
My most kindest regards.
Neil.
